Could it be true? In my quest to start training for the Surrey Marathon this year, I started by shoe shopping. Always great motivation right? I came across this today – a croc style running shoe.
Finally, the biggest fashion faux pas of the decade may not be so visually uninviting as I thought. http://crosskix.com/
I wanted to get everyone’s opinion – what do you think? I am waiting for a sample pair to try on.
Apparently it’s a new local company but waiting for shipment.
I have to admit – love the color combos!
In the meantime, I have an appointment with the Running Room. They are experts at doing tests in store to see how you run, how your feet land on the ground and which shoes would be best.
Running shoe technology has come a long way!
Over the years – I have been a big fan of Adidas and even a pair of Asics.
I do know from my initial research – padding for your feet, size, breathability are very important. Everyone requires different amounts of each of the aspects. Some people even like the glove like running shoes and feeling the pavement.
It is always recommended you see a foot specialist first of course to make sure what will make your feet happy and be back healthy too!
Running shoes are also different for each type of use – running long distance, indoor training, hiking, walking and the list goes on.
Gone are the days when you went to the local Bay with your mom and had a couple of options. Now we have hundreds. Happy shoe shopping!
