Q: I love the look of fur, but I don’t support killing animals for their coats. Help?
A: One of the biggest fashion trends in recent years is Faux Fur bu the difference for this season is to find Faux Fur that looks real as possible and doesn’t lose its look after a Vancouver rainfall. IE – it keeps its texture and looks as real as possible minus the guilt.
From dog walks on the sea wall to ladies’ night, fur is the must have item this winter.
Take for example this John & Jenn Faux Fur duster. It is perfect for the cold, wet Vancouver days because it is warm and incredibly stylish. The chunky knit (also a must have this season) gives the piece texture and definition. This duster is out fitted with two hidden pockets, which are perfect for a casual day around town.
One of the things I love about this John & Jenn piece is the variability. You can dress it up with a sleek pair or tights and Michael Kors pumps. You could even throw it over a little black dress. Or, you could dress it down easily with yoga pants and boots or anything else in your closet.
