Creative decision to get Kareena in ‘Fevicol se’ song: Arbaaz Khan

Mumbai, Dec 5 (IANS) Filmmaker Arbaaz Khan says it was a collective and creative decision to rope in Kareena Kapoor for the item song “Fevicol se” in “Dabangg 2”, while his wife Malaika Arora Khan features in a cameo in another song in the movie.

Malaika had become a rage with “Munni badnaam” in the 2010 film “Dabangg”. She is expected to add her magic to the movie’s sequel too.

“Malaika is there in the film. She has a special appearance in ‘Pandey ji’ song,” Arbaaz said at a press conference here Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Kareena’s item number “Fevicol se” has become the talk of the town. Arbaaz is happy with the response to it, and said: “The song is fantastic and she has done a superb job in it. The response is overwhelming. It was a mutual consensus and creative call to have Kareena do it.”

Talking about whether there will be a third part to the “Dabangg” series, Arbaaz said they will take a decision based on the response of “Dabangg 2”.

The Salman Khan-Sonakshi Sinha-starrar will release Dec 21.
