Katrina Kaif and Aamir Khan’s song ‘Malang’ is said to be one of the costliest song production in Bollywood. Facebook

There is less than a month for ‘Dhoom 3′ release but the Bollywood film is full of promises, the latest being a groovy number that took Rs. 5 crore (about $845,000) to make.

The promo of the song ‘Malang’ has just released and is claimed to be one of the most luxurious and elaborately made songs in the Hindi film industry. 200 professional U.S. gymnasts were choreographed on a humongous set that took two months to create and special costumes added to the production costs, according to Indian news daily Hindustan Times.

Even the stars underwent rigorous training for the film.

Aamir Khan, who plays clown thief – Sahir,  says his character in Dhoom 3 has been his toughest role till date.  He had to undergo a strict diet for almost 2 years to get the chiselled look for the film, according to a Facebook post.

Co-actor Abhishek Bachchan, who is the cop – ACP Jai in the film, thinks playing Sahir will be Aamir Khan’s most memorable character.

Katrina Kaif, who plays an acrobat diva – Aaliya, rehearsed a lot for the songs, especially the title track. “There is action, dance and it has been shot in an international style and format,” Kaif said of the film earlier at a promotional event.
