New Delhi, Feb 1 (IANS) Filmmaker Rupesh Paul’s horror movie “Saint Dracula 3D” will be screened at the Jaipur International Film Festival Saturday.
“‘Saint Dracula’ is essentially a story of love and passion. While building up the script, I went through the most thumping love experience of my life. It was in the air; it touched me and distilled me,” Paul said in a statement.
“This exceedingly weird and wonderful personal experience facilitated the script. In another state of mind and love, this would not have been possible,” he added.
“Saint Dracula 3D” was also widely acknowledged and appreciated for its theme and demeanour at Cannes Film Market, Berlin Film Market and American Film Market and was honoured by the Motion Picture Association of Antigua (West Indies).
Produced by Biz TV Networks, the film is about a powerful king of Romania, who has a very ordinary human side to his personality. If the conventional portrait of Dracula shows him as blood thirsty, “Saint Dracula” portrays him as a human being thirsty for love.
The movie is slated to release all across India in March.
