‘Singh Saheb The Great’ item number a tribute to Indian cinema
Mumbai, Jan 26 (IANS) Filmmaker Anil Sharma says he has finalised an actress to groove to an item number in his film “Singh Saheb The Great”. He says the number will be like a tribute to 100 years of Indian cinema.
“We have finalised the girl who will be doing the item song in my film ‘Singh Saheb The Great’. We will make an official announcement soon. I can’t reveal the name right now,” Sharma told IANS.
He said the song will be shot Jan 28 in Indore.
“It is going to be a very unusual song,” he added.
Talking about it, he said: “We will revive an old folk dance number for this song. You can say this song will be a tribute to 100 years of Indian cinema.”
If recent media reports are anything to go by, Indo-Canadian porn star Sunny Leone was being considered for this item song.
“Singh Saheb The Great” features Sunny Deol in the lead.
