REIT Cominar has net proceeds of $276 million after closing public offering

QUEBEC — Cominar Real Estate Investment Trust (TSX: CUF.UN) says it has closed its public offering of 11.6 million units for net proceeds of about $276 million. Cominar plans to use the money to finance a portion of its $697-million acquisition of GE Capital Real Estate. GE Capital has a portfolio of 68 properties in Quebec and Ottawa.
