EVENTS: Guru Nanak Free Kitchen, 2013 Chutzpah! Festival

A couple of great events to get involved in or check out this week:

1. Guru Nanak Free Kitchen

DATE: Feb. 7th    TIME: 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
LOCATION: Sikh Temple Sukhsagar, 347 St. Wood, New Westminster, B.C.

DATE: Feb. 8th and 9th     TIME: 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.
LOCATION: First United Church, 320 E. Hastings St., Vancouver, B.C.

GNFK will be doing food preparations on Thursday evening at Sukh Sagar Gurdwara. We would greatly appreciate volunteer assistance!   On Friday and Saturday GNFK will be heading to First United Church to serve. Volunteer duties include serving meals, collecting dishes, and cleaning used plates.

This event is open to all ages however children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

2.   2013 Chutzpah! Festival

Breathtaking dance, hilarious comedy, a silent film screening with live music, prize-winning theatre and international music highlight the 13th Annual Chutzpah! Festival, the Lisa Nemetz International Showcase of Jewish Performing Arts. The 2013 festival showcases a wonderful range of eclectic performances and workshops by international, Canadian and local artists from February 7-March 3, 2013.
