Along with a trip to Canada and beautiful B.C., many of the Bollywood stars set to descend on Vancouver this April will earn a pretty paycheque, too.

It’s hard to know exactly what members of India’s entertainment A-list will be paid for their appearances and performances at the first-ever Times of India Film Awards, set to take place April 4-6. But if it’s anything like what they earn for events in India, some are in line for six-figure paycheques.

The event is partly funded by the B.C. government to the tune of $11 million.

According to entertainment site pinkvilla.com, Indian event organizers said some stars can charge nearly $25,000 per minute for various appearances, including endorsements, stage shows, hosting, dancing and performing. Megastars like Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan are reported to charge nearly $2,000,000 for an hour-long live performance.

And according to Bollywoodshaadi.com, in addition to these fees, there are other expenses involved with booking stars, such as flight tickets, hotel stays and fees for the star’s entourage, including managers, choreographers, makeup artists, and more.

These earnings are on top of what actors and actresses already demand for the movies they appear in each year. Bollywood produces nearly 150 films a year, with some stars appearing in up to eight movies annually.

So, here’s just a sample of what some stars expected at the Times of India Film Awards in Vancouver make per movie as well as what they typically earn for their endorsements in India, according to the Hindustan Times:

  • Shah Rukh Khan – approx. $5,000,000/movie; approx. $564,000/day per endorsement
  • Ranbir Kapoor – approx. $2,000,000/movie; approx. $375,000/day per endorsement
  • Katrina Kaif – approx. $800,000/movie; approx. $235,000/day per endorsement
  • Priyanka Chopra – approx. $600,000/movie; approx. $140,000/day per endorsement
  • Anushka Sharma – approx. $300,000/movie; approx. $75,000/day per endorsement
