New Delhi, Jan 5 (IANS) A helpline for people who need psychological assistance with violent tendencies was announced at Jantar Mantar in central Delhi Saturday by the Art of Living Foundation, an official said.
“People with violent tendencies can call the Art of Living’s helpline number 011-3072222 for counselling,” said Gautam Vig, director of the foundation.
“This is not an emergency helpline. It’s intention is to cure and reduce stress at the spiritual level so that we can clean society affected with alcoholism and stress,” Vig said.
The helpline was launched keeping in mind the brutal gang-rape of a 23-year-old woman in a moving bus Dec 16. She died in a Singapore hospital Dec 29.
