Hornets kill pet dog
Beijing, Nov 13 (IANS) A woman’s dog was bitten to death by hornets in the Chinese capital.
The woman found her dog on the floor Sunday with a nasty bump on its face. It died an hour later, the Global Times said.
Fire fighters discovered two nests in her seventh-floor apartment and sealed them off. Song said she knew the nests were there, but thought the hornets would die in the cold weather.
