Q. How does your heritage/culture play a factor in your everyday life?

A. I believe that heritage and culture should be embraced and shared with the world, as that is what makes the world beautiful. I feel blessed to call Canada my home, which is home to so many different cultures and ethnic backgrounds. My cultural experiences play an important role in my everyday life by shaping the woman I am today and by allowing me to always open my mind and heart to others.

Q. How will your heritage/culture play a factor in the upcoming pageant?

A. My talent is of an East Indian Bollywood dance which I am very excited to be presenting! I wanted to showcase and mediate my cultural heritage through art.

Q. What would you like to do if crowned Miss World Canada?

A. If given the honour and privilege of being the next Miss World Canada, I would like to empower and inspire the youth and young women of Canada to be selfless while growing in the invaluable experience myself. I aspire to show the world what Canada and I have to offer by being a leader who leads with her heart.

Q. How does your heritage/culture play a factor in your everyday life?

A. Culture and heritage play a big role in my everyday life, as it involves a number of aspects that I have learned from my family, as well as through the community at large in which I have grown up in. Some of these aspects are language, personal and moral values that help move me forward in life. One of the main things that really plays a huge role in my life is education. Education is something that I have learned from my family and culture that no matter what happens in life, nothing or no one can take away education from me and that no matter what my future holds for me, a degree shows I am someone in this world that will help me be successful in the future.

Q. How will your heritage/culture play a factor in the upcoming pageant?

A. Miss World Canada 2014 is a great deal to many, but it is also a huge opportunity for one to excel on a different level in life. The values that I have learned and continue to learn everyday from my family and culture are just one of the reasons why I am striving for the best in this pageant. These values are allowing me to be confident in doing what I love most. For instance, I chose dancing as my talent/entertainment section of this competition because it is my passion.

Q. What would you like to do if crowned Miss World Canada?

A. Being crowned Miss World Canada 2014 would make my dream come true to make a larger difference to the community and the world as a whole. My main goal is to bring out the awareness of the stigma that causes mental illnesses such as Anorexia and Bulimia Nervosa. If I get the chance to be crowned Miss World Canada 2014, I will strive to do my ultimate best to bring this awareness and help prevent individuals from pursuing such harmful mental illnesses.
