Tycoon offers $63m dowry to man who can win his gay daughter’s heart

A Hong Kong real estate magnate wants a son-in-law badly – and he’s apparently putting his money where his mouth is.

According to reports online,
Cecil Chao Sze-tsung, 76, is offering a $63-million (500 million Hong Kong dollars) “marriage bounty” to any man who can convince the tycoon’s lesbian daughter to marry him.

Chao announced the reward after reports surfaced his 33-year-old daughter, Gigi, married her same-sex partner of seven years earlier this year.

However, Chao calls the marriage reports rubbish and has posted the dowry in order to find Gigi the perfect man.

“I don’t mind whether he is rich or poor. The important thing is that he is generous and kind-hearted,” Chao told the South China Morning Post.

For her part, Gigi, a director in her dad’s company Cheuk Nang, seems to have taken her father’s ploy in good stride.

In status updates posted to her Facebook page, she seems perplexed to have been bombarded with new friend requests. A similar thing happened on Twitter, where she accumulated a number of new followers.

Raj indian says:

I am interested with Chao’s daughter Gigi.please let me know her details to contact.

Justice says:

Who cares? Daddy has lots of money, no class and no brains – typical rich people who crave self attention – even if I had $100million I would not marry her and be labelled a gold digger for a lesbo. If she is attracted to the same sex what man could trust her to be loyal and by his side while she craves the same sex.
