Delhi woman raped by Gurgaon realtors

Ghaziabad, Oct 3 (IANS) A 32-year-old woman from Delhi was gang raped here in a moving vehicle allegedly by a group of realtors whom she came to meet to look at newly built flats, police said Wednesday.

The woman told police that she was sexually assaulted in a Scorpio jeep. The incident occurred Tuesday night in Tronica city.

On Tuesday afternoon, the realtors took her to several housing projects in Gurgaon where she inspected several flats.

Later, the realtors told her that she would be dropped in Delhi in their vehicle.

In the van, the realtors gave her a cold drink lacked with a sedative. When she lost consciousness, three men raped her.

When she began crying, they dropped her in a forested area on the Delhi-Saharanpur road at about 8 p.m. and escaped.

The woman named two of the rapists as Ravi and Bhupendra. She added that they took away her laptop, wrist watch, gold chain and a ring, said police inspector Brij Mohan Yadav.
