New Delhi, Sep 7 (IANS) Two men shot dead three people, including the 12-year daughter of one of the assailants, in a shooting spree here Friday before one of them turned the gun on himself, police said. Three others, including the second gunman, were injured in the incident.
The incident happened in area of west Delhi, police said, adding they were trying to understand the reason behind the crime.
According to police, the two gunmen – Rajbir (30) and Manish (22) – were friends.
The duo first shot dead 23-year-old Jyoti Saini, with whom Manish was allegedly having an affair, and lived close to their houses, and then Jyoti’s teacher Usha Yadav, 34.
After this, the two went to Rajbir’s house and fired at his wife Pooja (23) and his two daughters – Khushi (12) and Rashi (two-and-a-half).
Rajbir then shot himself dead, police said.
Khushi died in the firing, while Pooja, Rashi and Manish were injured and have been admitted in a hospital. It was not known if Manish was injured in Rajbir’s firing or was also trying to kill himself.
