More than 600 student from four Surrey schools held an anti-bullying flash mob to celebrate Pink Day at Princess Margaret Secondary School.

“The ground was snowy, but the weather was sunny,” said event organizer Sean Bindra. “The kids really enjoyed it.”

The cross-cultural event featured Michael Jackson’s They Don’t Care About Us and the Bollywood song Dhoon Machale as performed by students from Princess Margaret as well as three elementary schools — Strawberry Hill. Dr. F.D. Sinclair, and Westerman.

The flash mob was choreographed by Shiamak Davar, founder of the Shiamak Bollywood Dance School, who choreographed last April’s Times of India Film Awards extravaganza at B.C. Place.
