New Delhi, June 29 (IANS) There was little relief from the heat in the capital Friday with the minimum temperature settling four notches above average at 31.6 degrees Celsius. The met office has forecast a hot, cloudy day in store.
“The skies will remain partly cloudy… There is no forecast of rain. The maximum temperature is expected to hover around the 42 degrees Celsius mark,” said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 37 percent.
Thursday’s maximum temperature settled five notches above average at 41.6 degrees Celsius, while the minimum was two notches above average at 30.4 degrees Celsius.
