‘I let my family down,’ says Britain’s Prince Harry about racy Vegas escapade

London, Jan 22 (IANS) Breaking silence over his notorious romp in a Las Vegas hotel suite, Prince Harry has admitted having let his family “down.”

The 28-year-old spoke about his actions, which led to nude pictures being published of him playing strip billiards in his posh Las Vegas hotel room, the Daily Express reported.

“At the end of the day, I probably let myself down, I let my family down, I let other people down.”

“But at the end of the day, I was in a private area and there should be a certain amount of privacy that one should expect … Back home, all my close friends rallied round me and were great,” he said.

As the pictures leaked, it seemed Harry had lapsed back into his “playboy prince” persona, which he had attempted to shake off in recent years. But he admitted he has no plans of settling down soon.

Harry denied claims that the pressure was on now that his older brother had settled down, he said: “I don’t think you can ever be urged to settle down.”

“If you find the right person and everything feels right, then it takes time, especially for myself and my brother.”

He said it will be a slow process.

Revealing that he gets regular nudges from Charles, his father and Prince of Wales, to behave more like a prince, Harry said he finds it much easier being Captain Wales than Prince Harry.
