SLAM 2014, which claims to be Indian Cinema’s biggest global music extravaganza, promises glitz and glamour with Bollywood’s top stars slated to perform at the PNE Coliseum in Vancouver on September 27.

Bollywood fans will get an opportunity to watch their favourite actors Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Jacqueline Fernandez, Boman Irani, Abhishek Bachchan, Sushmita Sen and Sonu Sood in action, SLAM spokesman Harpreet Singh said in a media release.

Choreographer Farah Khan, who is directing the show, will work her magic with the stars while singing sensations Yo-yo Honey Singh and Kanika Kapoor will entertain the audience with their hit songs.

The three to four-hour program will entertain Vancouver in a way never experienced before, Singh told Vancouver Desi. “There has never been a Bollywood entertainment show on this scale in Vancouver apart from the TOIFA,” he said.

A 130-strong cast and crew will be flown in for the event and will showcase state-of-the-art production, mind-blowing visuals and stunning costume changes.

The event is being organized by Verka Foods and DBR Entertainment in Vancouver, Singh said. SLAM extravaganza will then move on to San Jose on September 28.
