Giant statue of Lord Buddha unveiled in new park in Himalayan state of Sikkim, India (gallery)

A park featuring a 130-foot tall Lord Buddha statue was opened to the public in Rabong, Sikkim, India, Feb. 25, 2013. The park’s name is Tathagatatsal, it covers an area of 23 acres and will be formally inaugurated by Tibetan spiritual leader the Dalai Lama on March 25, 2013.
