Jessica and our newest cast member Jyoti Amge…the world’s smallest woman, tweeted American Horror Story’s creator Ryan Murphy.

The world’s shortest living woman from India, Jyoti Amge, is all set to make her U.S. drama debut with the fourth season of ‘American Horror Story’, the show’s creator Ryan Murphy announced on Twitter.

“Jessica (Lange) and our newest cast member Jyoti Amge…the world’s smallest woman.” Murphy posted along with a photos of the two stars.

Amge, 20, the world’s shortest woman at just 2-ft. 0.6 inches tall, earned the title in December 2011 when she turned 18, according to the Guinness Book of World Records.

According to the Daily Mail, the actress has a form of dwarfism called achondroplasia that stopped her growth after her first birthday. She weighs just about 5.5kg.

The fourth season of the series entitled ‘Freak Show’, is set in Jupiter, Florida, in the 1950s. Jessica Lange plays the lead role on the show, the Indian Express reported. Amge’s role — mother to Gabourey Sidibe’s character — will have a four-episode arc in the show.

Amge has previously worked in a documentary titled ‘Body Shock: Two Foot High Teen’ and was also a guest on the Indian reality show ‘Bigg Boss 6′.
