Indian investigators in Iran to question suspects in bomb attack on Israeli diplomat’s wife

NEW DELHI — Police say two Indian investigators have gone to Tehran to question Iranian suspects who they believe were involved in a bomb attack that wounded an Israeli diplomat’s wife in the Indian capital in February.
A police officer says arrest warrants have been issued against three Iranians, two of whom allegedly left India before the attack and were previously in contact with an Indian journalist accused of conspiracy in the bomb attack.
He says the third left India after the attack.
He spoke Monday on condition of anonymity as he was not authorized to talk to reporters.
Israel has accused Iran of recent bombings or bomb plots in India and Thailand and the former Soviet Republic of Georgia. Iran has denied any involvement.
