An Indian husband and wife stunt team are making a living from terrifying daredevil acts of slicing and smashing objects on each other’s bodies.

According to British tabloid The Daily Mail, the pair have been taking the death-defying stunts across their native southeast Indian state of Andhra Pradesh, where they’ve been performing in front of small village crowds.

In the performances, Bhramaramba Budati, a 39-year-old mother of two, lets her husband Balashankar Budati, 40, slice coconuts on her head, neck and body as well as smash lighting tubes, life-sized blocks of ice, or roofing tiles over her body.

Budati has posted three videos to her Facebook page, all which show her dressed in a sari calmly lying on the ground – or even atop a bed of nails – where she silently lies waiting for her husband to wield his knife or stick to slice and smash the various objects placed atop her body.

She never winces or even bats an eye until she has to remove the remnants of the smashed objects from her clothes and body.
