Beauty queen and former Big Brother contestant Deana Uppal managed to get herself a speeding ticket on the first day she took her brand-new white Lamborghini supercar out for a spin drive.

But the unexpected end to her first trip with the motor did not dampen her need for speed – and she said she plans to get herself several more super cars.

The 26-year-old former Miss India U.K. 2012 said she couldn’t wait to take the car for a spin after taking delivery of the Lamborghini Aventador Roadster, one of the fastest convertible cars ever made, but she hadn’t realized quite how quick it was.

The 700-bhp 6.5-litre V-12 engine can manage 0 to 62-mph acceleration in just 3 seconds, and can reach a top speed of 217mph, so it’s hardly surprising that the 200,000 GBP vehicle needs careful handling.

Uppal admitted that she had only just taken delivery of the car when she was stopped by police in London for speeding.

She admitted: “I was driving slightly over the speed limit when I was stopped by the police and fined. The car is still new and I am still getting used to handling such a big machine. I will be more careful in the future and stay under the speed limit. I am really a car fan and plan to get a few more in the future.”

She said she had treated herself to the car after celebrating completion of the action-packed TV show Fear Factor Khatron ki Khaladi where she has to overcome things that would otherwise terrify her.
