They came all dressed up and ready to dance.

Auditions for a “once in a lifetime” opportunity to be part of the magic of the Times of India Film Awards this April in Vancouver, B.C., were held this past Saturday at the Dance West Studio in Surrey, B.C.

Those dancers chosen will get the chance to strut their stuff alongside Bollywood stars at the event’s grand awards ceremony on April 6, 2013 at B.C. Place.

“Those chosen to fill these positions will have a once in a lifetime experience, performing on stage for thousands of adoring fans and also getting the opportunity to meet and work alongside some of their favourite Bollywood actors and actresses,” choreographer Shiamak Davar said in a release. “We’re incredibly excited to bring this opportunity to local dancers.”

Davar added he was looking to fill 50 positions for the stage spectacular. For more on the awards, a.k.a. TOIFA, click here.
