The lineup for the Times of India Film Awards’ kickoff musical extravaganza continues to grow, as Kavita Seth and Hans Raj Hans have just been added to the bill, it was announced Tuesday.

The event, slated for April 4, 2013 at Pacific Coliseum, is also offering a limited time special offer on tickets, with up to $200 being knocked off prices for the award-winning cast of song and dance stars. The special offer features floor seats going for between $200 and $300 and lower bowl seats selling at $100 – down from $375 to $500 and $150, respectively.

The two latest additions to the star-studded lineup include Seth, an award-winning playback singer, otherwise known as a singer contracted to record music for movie soundtracks, highlighted in many Hindi films whose hit songs include “Iktaara” from “Wake Up Sid” and “Mora Piva” from “Rajineeti.” Most recently, Seth topped the charts in 2012 when she sang for Diana Penty in “Tumhi Ho Bandhu.” Also hitting the stage will be Hans, a noted Sufi artist who is a past recipient of the Padam Shree Award, India’s highest civilian award, for his contributions to the field of music.

Artists previously announced for the bill include Sukhwinder Singh, known for his Academy Award winning song “Jai Ho” from “Slumdog Millionaire” and Shiamak Davar, world renowned choreographer and singer who popularized Bollywood dance across the globe. Also performing will be Mohit Chauhan, Indian pop and playback singer, Sunidhi Chauhan, female playback singer known for her upbeat numbers, Hard Kaur, the face of Indian hip hop, and Shalmali Kholgade, an award-winning singer known for her song “DaaruDesi” from “Cocktail.”
