STATE ELECTION: Over 5,000 voters in Gujarat aged 100 years and older

The government had identified around 5,574 voters who were 100 years old, an official said, adding that the total number of electorate was 19.8 million.
A record voter turnout at 70.2 per cent was witnessed in the state’s two-phase polling, whose last round ended Monday, Chief Election Commissioner V.S. Sampath said. The results would be out Thursday.
