New Delhi, Nov 30 (IANS) A misty Friday morning was followed by sunny day and a cold evening with temperatures staying below average in the national capital. The Met Department has forecast a cloudy and colder Saturday.
“Skies will be clear in the morning, will turn cloudy towards afternoon with the maximum and minimum temperatures expected to hover between 23 and 9 degrees Celsius,” an official of India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
The city recorded a minimum temperature of 10.9 degrees Celsius, a notch below average, while the maximum was 21.6 degrees Celsius, four notches below average, the official said.
Humidity was between 95 and 59 percent.
“Along with early morning and evening, the day too will start getting colder. There will be a decline in the minimum and maximum temperatures in the next few days,” the official said.
Thursday’s maximum temperature settled at 28.3 degrees Celsius, three notches above average, and the minimum was 9.3 degrees Celsius, a notch below average.
