Three arrested for eve-teasing in south Delhi

New Delhi, Dec 25 (IANS) The three men were arrested for eve-teasing two women outside a mall in south Delhi after the victims raised an alarm, police said Tuesday.

“The incident was reported at around 9:30 p.m. Monday near Select City Walk mall in Saket (in south Delhi),” said a police officer.

According to police, the victims, in their late 20’s, were walking near the mall when three intoxicated men in a car accosted them.

When the victims protested, the men passing lewd comments.

When the women raised an alarm, a police patrol intercepted the car and apprehended the occupants, said a police officer.

The accused – Ishant, Vinay and Raja Raman from Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh – have been arrested, a police officer said.
