SYDNEY, Australia — Australia won the toss and elected to bat first in Sunday’s fourth limited-overs international against Sri Lanka at the Sydney Cricket Ground.
The hosts named an unchanged lineup from the team humiliated in Brisbane on Friday when bowled out for a 74, in a four wicket defeat.
Australia captain Michael Clarke and his team will need a much improved batting performance if it is to pull level in the five-match series which its trails 2-1.
Sri Lanka made two changes with wicketkeeper Dinesh Chandimal returning from injury for Upul Tharanga, while spinner Rangana Herath comes in for seamer Shaminda Eranga.
Australia won the opening game by 107 runs with the visitors winning the second game by five wickets, followed by a four wicket victory in game three.
