DHAKA, Bangladesh — Captain Darren Sammy smashed 60 off 62 balls Friday to steer West Indies to 211-9 against Bangladesh in the fourth one-day international at Mirpur’s Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium.
Sammy hit five boundaries and two sixes and came after the tourists had lost three quick wickets only for four runs to collapse to 6-102.
Darren Bravo hit 34 while Marlon Samuels (27) and Kieran Powell (26) also made starts.
Mahmudullah took 3-46, Elias Sunny grabbed 2-21, and Abdur Razzak chipped in with 2-47.
Paceman Mashrafee Bin Mortaza removed aggressive opener Chris Gayle for 16 and West Indies then lost wickets regularly to Bangladesh’s spinners.
Bangladesh leads 2-1 in the five-match series.
