Hoysala hits double ton in Inter University cricket

Manipal, Dec 19 (IANS) Arjun Hoysala hit a career-best knock of unbeaten 233 from 162 balls to help Bangalore University beat KLEFU, Vaddeswaram by a huge margin of 260-runs in the South Zone Inter-University Cricket Tournament at the NIT-K, Surathkal ground here Wednesday.

Bangalore scored a mammoth 428 for four in 50 overs. They then bowled out KLEFU for 168 runs.

Manipal University moved up with a 139-run win over MANU University from Hyderabad. Put in to bat, the hosts scored 251 in 49.3 overs. In reply, the Hyderabad outfit were shot out for 112.
