India opt to field in first T20 International

Pune, Dec 20 (IANS) India won the toss and decided to field against England in the opening Twenty20 International at the Subrata Roy Sahara Stadium here Thursday.

Teams:

England: Alex Hales, Michael Lumb, Luke Wright, Eoin Morgan (captain), Samit Patel, Jos Buttler, Tim Bresnan, James Tredwell, Stuart Meaker, Danny Briggs, Jade Dernbach.

India: Gautam Gambhir, Ajinkya Rahane, Virat Kohli, Yuvraj Singh, Suresh Raina, Ravindra Jadeja, MS Dhoni (captain), Ravichandran Ashwin, Piyush Chawla, Ashok Dinda, Parwinder Awana.
