Chennai, Sep 24 (IANS) After doing character roles and comedies, Telugu actor Sivaji is excited about his upcoming issue-based movie “Dakshina Madhya Railway Jattu”, where kabbadi is used as a tool to resolve a major problem in a village.
“It’s an interesting film set against village backdrop where a (fluoride) problem is brought forth through the game of kabbadi,” Sivaji, who will be seen as a coach of a girls kabbadi team, told IANS.
“Dakshina Madhya Railway Jattu” is directed by National Award-winning director Narasimha Nandi, and features several new actresses who are roped in to play kabbadi players.
The shooting of the film will take place in several parts of Andhra Pradesh.
Meanwhile, Sivaji is looking forward to the release of his yet-to-be-titled Telugu horror venture opposite Sada.
“We’ve almost completed 70 percent of the film. The shooting for one song and few days work is left. We hope to complete it very soon”, said the actor, whose first success as solo hero came with the Telugu movie “Missamma”.
Debutant director S.S. Reddy has been shooting the film with the cast and crew for the last seven months in Hyderabad. The delay is due to the Computer Graphics Imagery (CGI) work involved in the film.
