FOXBOROUGH, Mass. — Gambian winger Sanna Nyassi scored in the 61st minute to help the Montreal Impact beat the New England Revolution 1-0 on Sunday in Major League Soccer.

Montreal has won four of its last five games, while the Revolution are winless in their last six outings and have scored just two goals over that span.

Nyassi stole the ball from midfielder Benny Feilhaber, beat two defenders and fired a 22-yard drive to the top right corner past keeper Matt Reis for his fifth goal of the season.

At Chester Pennsylvania, Chris Rolfe scored two goals and Arne Friedrich added one to lead the Chicago Fire past Philadelphia Union 3-1.

Philadelphia took a short-lived lead thanks to an own goal in the 34th minute, but Rolfe equalized the 43rd minute, and Friedrich gave the Fire a 2-1 advantage with a goal in stoppage time. Rolfe’s second goal in the 56th minute gave Chicago a two-goal cushion.

Juninho scored twice and captain Landon Donovan had a hand in all four goals at Carson, California as the Los Angeles blanked Chivas USA 4-0.

The Galaxy earned the victory without David Beckham, who was in London for the Olympic closing ceremony. Without Beckham, the Galaxy solidified their place in the Western Conference standings, surging to 36 points — 10 ahead of Chivas.

Robbie Keane gave Los Angeles a 1-0 lead in the 27th minute with his 10th of the season, Juninho scored a pair of goals 10 minutes apart in the second half, and Omar Gonzalez added a late shot to make it 4-0 one week after the Galaxy lost 4-0 at Seattle.
