HOBART, Australia — Sri Lanka captain Mahela Jayawardene won the toss and sent Australia in to bat first in the final limited-overs international under sunny skies at Bellerive Oval on Wednesday.
Australia is led by George Bailey after regular captain Michael Clarke injured an ankle during training Tuesday. Allrounder Glenn Maxwell has replaced Clarke’s place in the batting lineup.
Australia is looking to even the five-game series after the fourth ODI was washed out in Sydney on Sunday leaving Sri Lanka with a 2-1 lead.
Sri Lanka has retained the same XI that humiliated Australia by four wickets with 180 balls remaining in the third game at Brisbane last week.
